Astatic D104M6 "B" or "C"
These mics rock! Just like the older minuteman versions made long ago, these come with a 9V battery however. Its got great audio! They work well.

Ok they aren't our 1st choice in mobile power mics for truckers because they can pick up a horn blowing 2 miles back if you don't adjust it right. But for most quiet cars they can work well, IF you listen and keep your fingers off the adjustable volume control on the back! With our wackpacked radios, these work well, but keep the volume set low! PS: The "B" is for this mic in black, the "C" is for chrome, its not shiny chrome either!

Astatic D104M6C Specifications:

  • Transistorized Ceramic

  • Output Level: -44 dB below 1 volt per microbar at 1 kHz into 1 megohm load

  • Output Adjustment: Approximately 40 dB range

  • Impedance: 5000 ohms max., recommended load of 100 ohms and up; performs well over entire impedance range up to open circuit

  • Connector: Available stripped and tinned or configured with 4 pin (DX1) or 5 pin (DX2) DIN.

  • Cable: Five conductor (one conductor shielded) coiled cord that extends to 2.3 m (7 1/2 ft.). Durable strain relief bushing protects against cable breakage at microphone housing.

  • Durable high impact molded black ABS (front housing chrome plated on D104-M6C)
