Big 10m Base Stations - Galaxy 2517

We can basically type "read the description for the 2980wx as it applies to this radio too" but we won't. This is RadioActive Radios and you expect more. Basically the Galaxy 2517 is a 2980WX and the 2980WX is a 2517. Some differences in the two however. First notice, no "WX" yes it's true there is no weather in the 2517. Weathers a bad reason to buy the 2980WX however.

These radios have nice features. 6 bands of channels, all mode am/fm/usb/lsb. 5 digit frequency counter, with all the standard features, mic gain, rf gain ect. They have a built in SWR meter, 10kz, roger beep. variable talkback and more. These new generation radios have awesome new style quiet power supplies.

The Galaxy 2517 is a true audio monster base station after we do our own exclusive SuperWackPack. Our SuperWackPack just can't be compared with others. We have seen many copy cats on the internet. We are honored that our style is copied, but honestly our technical service is 2nd to none. If we see one single mod done better at any shop anywhere, trust this statement..we'll check out the mod, and greatly improve it. We have no pride when it comes to advancement. But as a true technical shop we find very few mods that we haven't seen 1000 times no matter what it is called. If a "peak/tune" made that much difference, then either the factory did a horrible job building your radio since it just needed a tune up to work great. Or you've been scammed. We offer different levels of mods for this and all chassis we sell. The Performance Pack is the most entry level redesign we do. Its smart for the guy looking to save money and want to get into a true technical redesigned radio. However for you people that must have the best, loudest, longest lasting get the SuperWackPack. The forward talkpower after our SuperWackPack makes audio sound "BIG".
