Galaxy 33HP2 Galaxy is finally fighting back in the dual final fet radio world with a winner. What does it look like? Well it looks like every other classic dual fet radio that has blown Galaxy away in sales. The classic looking DX 33HP2 is a winner for sure. What makes the Galaxy DX33HP2 a winner. Well based on the older DX33 Galaxy design this radio has more advanced features. It boosts 3 position variable rf power (low/med/hi). Talkback on/off designed right, so you can shut off the talkback and keep on the echo (thank you galaxy its been what 20 years that people have asked for this feature!). Of course you can't have echo on/off without having a echo reverb board which the Galaxy DX 33HP2 has included. It also contains a LED dim circuit so you can lower the brightness of the LED display which is a must do for the night time driver.

The Galaxy DX33HP2 works great SuperWackPacked Phaze II. About the time of this radio coming out we just added a brand new Agilent Communications Test Center to our bench. So you know when this radio gets SuperWackPacked its going to have its power on the right frequency, maximizing those (2) output fet transistors without excessive harmonics like regular radio shops. Regular radio shops that whistle into the mic trying to "tune/peak" it, we're able to get a massive amount of performance from the Galaxy DX33HP2 that crushes other ones on the airwaves. There is much room for improvement on the rf deck inside this chassis, however we address those issues with our SuperWackPack Phaze II making the HP2 a awesome machine. Currently there are (3) levels of technical redesign we can do to the transmit section, the SuperWackPack (the best), the Original WackPack (for those wanting max performance on a budget) and for those who are sick of buying from the road side or internet type regular radio shop but are on the tightest budget the Performance Packed version of this radio sells for only around $200! These radios benefit from SuperRx greatly with lower noise, and more distant signals. Many also do (3) position close talk switches on them so when your pulling up to someone else you don't "blow the ears off them" Other mods are available from us to make this just the right radio for you!
