The Galaxy 44 is a good Galaxy starter radio. If your a Big Truck Driver, drive a tiny 4 wheeler, own a base, or just want a stinkin cb radio, check it out. The 44 is a full sized radio, much better then most any other radio out there. OK its not the biggest talker, but it will stomp the Cobras to pieces after you get it Wackpacked.Galaxy radios do there thing best on am, and this does just that. Plus it doesn't cost a ton, and if your talking on a uniden or such, you'll be loving life with this radio. You'll feel like king of the road, or maybe smokey and the bandit.
