Galaxy has the 55HP to replace the 55V. Galaxy has been getting smarter these days and keeping what made them famous in their line up...classic Galaxy 10m chassis. These babies made Galaxy famous, and finally maybe if Galaxy keeps on track a new generation of the '3900' type chassis will stay on the scene.
The 55h/p offers some great features. Including updated mosfet transistors to replace the old bi polar one. Snazzy new 5 digit blue freq counter, and even a clarifier (ask us about opening the clarifier). AM/FM, and easy to use 6 position band selector. The has a 10kz to split channels even. Doesn't the list end...! Roger beep, variable power, and even the LEDs are on a dimmer. Add a real echo/reverb (don't buy the cheap-o ones) and you have a winner in the Galaxy 55HP. Having a front panel mic would of been nice, but some really love those big meters. Have us add Super Receive, and maybe even a instant channel switch for your favorite channel. And if you like bodacious audio the SuperWackPack is the way to go. We do offer more mild tune ups as well, or even ones that won't go over 100% audio for the guys that don't like to splash. If you want to get fancy have the best of both worlds and we can add a local/long distance switch and you can get both! The 55hp is yet another 'HP' on the market, but heck we like HPs! 60-70+ watts after SuperWackPacking sure makes it 'HP' for sure! Awesome to use with or without a amp. Remember our radios outtalk Tuned/peaked, Supertuned, mega tuned (you name it tuned) because of our redesign work. This ones a winner!
