The Outback bracket was built and designed for the Petes, and Kenworths.It replaces the stock mounts on Peterbuilt 387’s and Kenworth T2000 semi trucks with the new replacement. The mount extends away from the body of the vehicle to maximize antenna performance on all antennas. The mounting plate can be flipped so the bracket will work on both the driver or passenger side of the truck. Antenna mounting stud is included, however if your running a good antenna; Predator 10K, or Wilson 5000 Trucker for example buy a replacement heavy duty mount that we sell. If you drive a 387, or T2000 here's your mount! And with that antenna now extended out, you new SuperWackPacked radio will talk even better!
This complete antenna system replaces the stock system with a much more durable aluminum bracket. The stock system is a very poor idea because of terrible grounding. The plastic antenna mounts on this setup are very weak, and swr issues on these trucks are very common. However this special mount easily and securely attaches to the rear grab handle with 8 mounting bolts, firmly holding the antenna to the truck. It extends out and around the cab, so your antenna can talk. SWR is way easier to tune! We stock 25ft sections of custom made (made for us exclusive), CXperts coax for this application!
