Bodacious Mobile Antennas - Road Ranger Competition Antenna

If you always wanted a high performance antenna but were on a budget this maybe the way to go. Key word "maybe". We have NOTHING bad to say about the Road Ranger Antennas. In fact again if your looking for a inexpensive. high performance yet nice cb antenna, 10m antenna for your big rig this should be in the running. Why doesn't it sound as if we aren't fully convinced then? Well this product is being sold as a "competition antenna" and if you ask around nobody has ever heard of it at that level! Its no competition antenna. Its more of a knock off of the Predator 10K. The Pred 10K is one awesome antenna we sell, made in the USA. Are we turned off by the fact it could be looked at as a knock off? Well again not really, if it is a knock off then it should be sold for less then the real deal. People that want the real deal aren't going to buy the road ranger antenna. We sell both. Our problem is some dealers try to make this low cost antenna a high profit item. But they do this with all kinds of stuff. We see online sites pushing Browning Antennas well, "Give it a rest" So we'd have to say our problem isn't with the antenna itself its with dealers who are always trying to make a fast buck and get one past you. This is a $55-$60 (or there about) antenna plain and simple. It compares to antennas however more expensive. Is it worth $55-$60 heck yea. Its rating is something like a gazillion watts which is bogus. Truth is it handles more watts then 99.9999% of the guys who are reading it run anyway. That all being said if your looking for a less expensive antenna that talks phat, this maybe something you may want to mount to the truck- While $55-$60 wouldn't include shipping it comes to the door cheaper then many other antennas, and for the most part out talks many of them as well. Point of the story is if your paying more for this antenna then a Predator 10K think twice.
