Put my new "Experts" coax in place today and WOW what a difference. My standing noise level went from about 3 to almost nothing. I am hearing things with the super RX I never imagined. It was well worth the investment. Thanks Mr Radioactive.

Mr.RAR- sent in my old 44v. worth every dime, ive had this radio for 20 years now and its never talked so well. Tell mr super nova sammy great job. No wonder they all know him as the best tech on the planet. he gets my vote 2. Big Ted 272

hello everyone at radio active i have recieved my rci 2995dx today i hooked it all up and the first person i talked to was the guy that i sold my old 2995 to. he said i was way louder and alot cleaner than i was with the old one. i love the amp on off switch it is awsome. i must say you will be getting more buisness from me and my wife and it also sounds like my buddy wants to do some with you too. i had a guy almost 30 miles away telling me i was bleeding in on ch.19 i was on ch.17 lol. i cant wait till i can send it back to you to have it finished thank you so much for the hard work and all of your tallent. i am very pleased with my radio active radio!i will be spreading the news as much as possible around here when ever someone wants to know where i got my radio i wont be embarrased to tell them because i know it is doing the job it was intended to do. thanks again Jason L 73s south central ne. Hello RAR- I wanted to be the first to write about the new Galaxy 33HP2. I got it Super Wacked, Superrx, changed the 3 postion rf power to a close talk, nitro knobbed, splash guard, dc line filter, and static discharge all done plus your coax... it wasnt cheap wifes still kicking me, but a mans got to do what a mans got to do, that and a month worth of doing dishes for the ol lady.Perfect radio for me. Thanks now- Greg R.

Sent you my General Lee for modifications and upgrades. Took forever to get it back, now I know why. This thing kicks A$#. I've had it at 4 different shops and same story as your site says, "whistle in a mic and a tune up" Now im glad i was patient and waited for the G. Lee after sending it in. Top shelf, the radioactive G. Lee is #1. Twister, KS

Mr. Sammy Super Nova- Sent you in my Connex 4600T after sending it into another online radio shop. Got it back and it was worse then when I sent it in. I'm not just writting that either. After spending about $300 more on the radio then I should of, I sent it to you all. Never again will ANOTHER DIME of my money be spent anyplace else. The audio is now loud, and clear, not muffled and loud. The other shop got me more audio but the audio was muddy everyone laughed at it. Now when I key up, people know its me. The ears on this thing are great. I'm hearing about 30+ miles clear. Radios running cooler. I have found my new radio shop. Ivan, PA

guys, note to tell you got the 98vhp installed. it was a pain with the wierd swr thing, and the pred 10k tuning. thank u for wa;ling me through it sorry i called 20 times. the 98 is worth the cash. im getting out there like i never did before. us professional drivers dont get treated everyday like were importent but you guys r all right. im going to tell as many drivers as i can, for as many miles i drive u guys are pro the working man. thats rare these days take care- JH, NJ

i had a bird hit my stinger on a wilson 2000 the other night in nashville,tn. the next morning i noticed feathers stuck on the stinger so i asked for a radio chk and told the driver about the bird feathers that were all over my antenna, he answered i guess ill have to hit a bird if it will make my radio sound like yours, i said thank you.just call RADIOACTIVERADIOS and ask for a swp gen lee and you will have a radio like mine.

I've been on the cb radio for along time. I started on cb radio back in the late 60s. I've owned lots of cbs over the years, and had lots of cb radio shops work on my cb radios over that this time. Cb radio has changed alot over the years. A long time ago their were alot of qualifed cb radio techs out there. Nearly every town had a cb shop, and you could spot a cb antenna on nearly every car on the highway. It seems that after the 70s through the 80s CB radio died off in some areas, but us professional drivers still used them. Finding a cb radio repair shop got tough. I often don't get new electronic gadgets and the internet, and cell phone and I weren't always friends. However Im very happy I have found radioactiveradios.com to buy my new cb radio equipment from. My Galaxy DX 959 works great. Oh I know its only a Galaxy 959 not 1/2 the radio like some other cbers got out there but you guys did me right. From this old man behind the wheel to the cb tech that worked his wonders on my DX959, radioactiveradio, old man Mr.Red is waving.

Mr. Michael, tell Mod Squad I cant hear him now that I got my splash guard built on the super star 158edx. I'm creeping up on him, and soon hes going to get shut down! lol I'm fed up with his games. Mahalo aka 577 around the mini grass.

Gents-
About 2 weeks ago I sent a Galaxy 33HP in for service I bought online from (censored). I paid for mods but when I got the radio there was nothing done to it. I sent it to you and told you about what happend I already got the DX33HP back. I talk to drivers daily giving them directions since I cant work anymore. I didnt ask for you to work for free but thank you for whoever gave me the free superrx. I was suprised to read that in the note that you sent. I'll tell everyone I can that the shops that advertise "no smoke, no mirrors" online burned me, and send them your way. Bad news travels fast, good news keeps things rolling. Bless you and yours-
Chet S.

I have had your SWP Gen Lee for about a month now and I am already impressed. I can talk skip with no linear behind it and I get comments like this one read on:
ME: Break one nine for a radio check
Reply: The only thing wrong with that radio is it ain't sittin on my dash what kind of radio is it
ME: Genereal Lee
Reply: Well i'm talkin on a General Lee and I know mine don't sound that good
ME: Its a Radio Active Radio look for their website online

You get the point. I get these kind of replies all the time. I am talkin on a Wilson 1000 magnet mount and can talk at least 30 miles locally. Can't wait til I get my Dave Made 1X4. What will the replies be like then. What kinda distance will I be able to talk and skip well if I can do it barefoot I will really be walkin the dog with the Dave Made. TX a million RAR guys. Your work is as advertised.
mk5820
(answer to your question you'll simply be talking phat(ER) LOL!)

Mr. Michael. I don't know if this testimonial will get posted or not but I just want to let you guys at RadioActiveRadios know that you all are the BOMB!!! It's been about a month that I got back my Galaxy 48T from your repair shop. It didn't need the list of repairs I thought it did, only a couple of items your guys found that needed to be upgraded. The Splash Guard and the upgraded Super Rx you did are AWESOME! I could not believe how clear the receive is and the other mod, well the mod page explains it all about the Splash Guard. This radio continues to sound loud and proud and everyone still tells me to turn that darn radio down and that no one else can talk because I'm hogging up the channel. Others tell me that I'm crazy to do so much work to my cheap radio and that it won't last. But I know for a fact that their sorry pieces of junk aren't even worthy to be mentioned in the same sentence with mine. Mike, in the four years you have sold me your awesome radios, I have never been disappointed and the recent purchase of the Galaxy 66V was super. This little radio packs a punch. When I used it while my 48T was in the shop, there was a little difference I was told but they also said that it was still loud and the Super Rx again, is awesome. I sincerely want to thank you Mike and all your super-techs you have working side by side with you to make sure those "fly by night, wannabe, I think our radios are almost ok", internet shops that talk bad about you but really don't know the quality and sweat you all put in to give us the customer and truckers, the best darned sounding radio in the Universe!!!!! I honestly believe that RadioActiveRadios is "often imitated but never duplicated". Many, many thanks again and please KEEP ON KEEPING ON cause you guys are the greatest. Big JOHN Palmdale,CA

Radioactive Gang-: Thank you for going out of the way to build me this special 2995DX. Im on a fixed income, and have been on disability for many years now. I was very worried about what shop to choose to build me my base. I spend every day talking on the radio since its about one of the only thing I can do these days.
I called every shop I could find on the internet. I read just about every postive and negitive statement thats been made about your place. After about 20 calls, and hours of searching your site it was clear your the #1 radio shop. Your competitors try to talk about you with their fake negitive comments, but Ive seen your true customers are loyal, one of which I now am. It tunred me off from buying from one shop that I almost In my neck of the woods when I hear that "big radio" coming through town you don't know how many times I've heard its a "radioactive radio"
The 2995DX you built for me is second to none the audio can only be said as "BOLD". We have three other operators with this same rig in my area. One of which sounds pretty good since hes running it through a 2 3500Z tube box and a pair of shooting stars. But on SSB all three sound horrible. The other day I was the only one shooting skip on lsb, the other guy couldnt get his numbers called. I hear all the time how loud, clear it sounds. People ask me what Im talking on. The local tech wants so bad to open her up after hearing it.
You guys did me right and I promised I'd return the favor. You all knew my circumstances and added nitro knobs for free to the unit after knowing I wanted them but couldnt afford it. Gentlemen thank you. Your radios talk for themselves. And any genuine customer knows what I talking about.
Little Man PS: as soon as I get the cash I'll be calling for the 2970N2

Mr.Radio wanted to drop you a line quik. some mudduck was talking crazy about out talking my super wack packed g. lee with some "comp" cobra 29 some mudduck D%* (edited by RAR) did for him in carlisle pa who thinks hes some radio god. if i heard 10 people it was prob 100 peolpe tell that mudduck I keyed on the duck, squuuuuishhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Waving a hand sir from the diesel car around alligator alley. You still doing your thing...#1 tech on the planet The newest 55Hp you did for me sir is doing the job and your guys coax is the best (superrx is the real deal man i can here a pindrop)- Double R

RA, thank you for suggestinng the new punisher antenna. the height on it was perfect for the job. thanks bud- hardhead jim

Techs at RAR ive been reading for a long time the testimonials on your site and honestly ive been to lazy to write one too. Driving through IL there was some crap talking going on the radio. Some radio shop (SP$%^ CB) was running their mouth about how much better they "tune" a radio after some guy asked if that was the shop doing the wacky packs. They slammed the wackpack, calling it a joke. i keyed up and asked where they were at, and they came back "now thats a sweet sounding radio" they went on about my system askin what i ran. After about 20 good mins of hearing them tell me how good I was sounding heading west i told them i appecaite the flowers on my wackpacked radio. the concersation stopped and you heard nothing on the air... what will they do when i hit the switch? lol, later dudes..... stevey, 818

Tune ups suck- Super wack packs rock- do it to it! ITS A DAVEMADE WORLD tell a friend thx for the hookup. SmackTalker #1

Hey- "If a shop has to add a RXF-75 to make their radios outtalk yours, and still can't do it, thats just plain funny dont cha think?"
c-u Ronald

R-A-R Letting you know that after 6 mths of talking this Super WACKPACKED General LEE is still WALKING THE DOG KICKING THE CAT! Its the perfect slip seat radio. The P-10K antenna is kinda a pain to take on and off but is great. My SWR went from 1.8 to 1.2 with your Experts Coax. Nice choice, take care. Fred C.

SUPERTECH MR RA. Thanks for coming getting back on the bench......I've never had more good things to say about one radio- I tell these boys if you want something truely custom theres only one place to shop...www.radioactiveradios.com

Mike- Thank s for taking back those crappy meters. im not sure why i got them in the first place. should of listened. the antenna was a giving me fits, but the mount you send worked 100% the overall height was perfect. AL

Michael=
I rarely if ever type. But the 2970N2 is the bestever. Thank you for taking the time to do it right. Its rare to find a shop that does full "real" alignments on SMT circuit boards included free with the radio. This radio out performs my 706MKII6 by a mile.
Sincerely-
Mr. H., Reno

Thanks Radio Active for the detailed attention to my RCI2995dx. You did the works to my radio, and I am getting "MAUL DROPPING" radio checks from every where, even when I am not using the full power this radio can transmit on. I am forever a customer, and hats off to you guys...John N. Ga

Hello Michael and Sammy,

I am really Enjoying this "FULLY LOADED" SuperWackPacked RCI 2950DX, with SuperReceive. The custom added variable talkback, and echo are a great addition to this unit. You guys have set this radio up really well, and you have it performing exactly like I dreamed it should.
I previously had a non-RadioActive, non-SuperWackPacked, non-SuperReceive RCI-2950DX, that I ran through several CB shops, and none of them were willing, or able to try to install Variable Talkback, or Echo. They also could never get the receive to work really well, and none of them could make the transmit both powerful sounding and clear at the same time. The non-SWP 2950 always sounded a bit "sterile" and mild. The different "CB shop techs" would talk about themselves like they were selling their skills as used cars, while talking down about the other shops. I always left their shops excited about the new radio modifications, but over time I always came to realize that the radio was a little short of what I hoped for.
For the transmit wattage tests, , they would whistle into the Mic to show me the radio's max output wattage while whistling. I later realized that the average talking watts was only 20% of what the whistling techs had shown me. After much aggravation with "very frustrating, noisy, and unclear receive", that the "whistling techs" told me was "normal", I finally gave up on the RCI 2950DX, and sold it for less than half what I had spent on the radio and all the "technician snake oil".
After trying several radios from several shops, with much frustrations in each case, my first great radio ever, was a SuperWackpacked General Lee, with SuperReceive, set up by RadioActive Radios. That radio has proved its excellence for several years now. I've eventually come to try another RCI 2950DX set up by you, and I am impressed. With the other shops I dealt with, I usually left their shop excited, to then become disappointed as I realized how poorly the radio was actually performing. I've been bitten by "CB shops" several times, and that has led me to become skeptical of new radios. Your great techniques and workmanship proves itself over time, and I have come to really appreciate these two great radios you have set up for me. The SWP General Lee still dominates AM, as you said it would, but now I have the extra features I wanted in the RCI 2950DX.

Thanks Guys,
Gatorbait

Thank You RA, I have over 10 hours of radio time on it and getting fantastic results with it. My local friends, about 8 of us, Now they can't tell the difference when im on my General Lee or my RCI 2990 base radio. Thats what I wanted, a good swinging mobile, and it does a surperb job. You guys are the Best in the bussiness out there!!! Thank You and will be doing business again soon! Daymon Chipley, Florida

Hi guys!!!!
just got back from the postal office, and my refurbed SuperWackpacked DX959 arrived!!!!! it was a QUICK hookup (heavy guage power, and bracket from my 2950 already installed)...fired her up and 'hollered'.... the LOCALS are VERY impressed!!!! after a few mins on the stock mike, I changed over to my Superstar DM452... and they're even MORE impressed.... and SO AM I!!!!!!!

Hey Mike,

Just a quick note of praise for you and Sammy. Superb job on my RCI 63FFC4! I received it back on Monday and have been putting it to the test ever since. Nothing but excellent reports on the audio and people telling me to quit pushing their needles so far over! I will defiantly let the guys know of your fantastic job on this unit! Thanks again! Look forward to doing more business with you in the future!

Sincerely,

Cody
(Part Time)

Thanks guys for the awesome job you where able to do on my new RCI 3900HP. You may remember me, I purchased this unit from (edited) online. I paid for the tune up that they do. However when I got the unit in it talked very poorly. It was just terrible on ssb as well. While I knew it wouldnt be as good as some on ssb, the shop told me it was normal. After sending it in to you I noticed actually it was doing less watts then before I sent it on my meters. The amazing thing was everyone told me how much louder it was after I got it back from you. People that couldnt hear me before now could hear me loud, and clear! Less watts, MUCH more distance. The SWP made me a loyal customer! SSB is working great now.
Money is tight these days, but I'll be buying from you guys again soon. Thanks for answering so many of my questions mike. Shane

Mike/Staff, In 2000, I got started with a Uniden Pro 510XL.
Then a Northstar 4000. In 2002, I bought my Galaxy DX99V. All these radios were "peaked and tweaked" by the proverbial golden screwdriver.
With my Galaxy,I thought I had a great radio.
In 2006, I was searching online for a radio shop
here on Long Island when I discovered RadioActiveRadios. I sent my Galaxy to R.A.R. for the S.W.P./RX&TX Alignment and a Talk-back switch. When I got it back, I found out how ignorant I was. Now, even barefoot, I talk 15 miles with a 5S unit carrier swingin' to 7S units! Again, Barefoot. I was told I "owned" someones needle. I was jokingly told I owed them a new needle, speaker and hearing aid. All this
through my Wilson 1000 @ less than 1.1:1 SWR.
My 99V/D104M6 had very good audio. The pristine 575M6 I got from R.A.R. really woke up my 99V. I can't wait to see what the predator 10K will do for me.

The bottom line: I've got a sweet setup because
RadioActiveRadios knows what they're doin' !!!

Micheal,

Just dropping a short note about the Galaxy 55 HP. The radio has ubelievable hearing power. I am hearing my friends 13-16 miles away. I just was able to get antenna dialed in under 1.3 swr and showed that the dead key power on radio was about 55 watts and when I was talking it bounced to 70-85+ watts. My friend John has his General Lee coming your way. I have had people tell me that I was bleeding over into their channel. Radio has a very clear sound and a lot of punch power. Many of my friends who I work and drive with are asking me where did I get the BIG MONSTER RADIO from. I have been directing them to your website to get the superwack pack and super recv. If you see a lot of business come from Florida than you will know the word is getting out.

Thanks again!!
Easy
Florida , Publix driver
(thank you! If you don't want that bleed over, we can install for you a 3 postion channel switch, med/close talking will not bleed!)

HI I GOT MY RCI 2995 DX RADIO TODAY AND I HAD IT SUPERWACKED THIS RADIO IS AWESOME. I HAVE NEVER HEARD THE CLARITY IN THE RECEIVE LIKE I DO ON THIS ONE.I HAVE USED IN ON SSB AND AM AND IT IS UNREAL. I GOT MY WIFE TO GET ON IT WHILE I WENT OUT ABOUT TEN MILES. I HAVE NEVER OWNED A RADIO THAT IS SO LOUD BEFORE. WHEN SHE KICKED IN THE ANL (note from RAR the anl on his radio is now a amp on/off switch) AND CRANKED IT UP THE AUDIO WAS UNBELIEVABLE. I AM USING A ECHOMAX 2000 MIKE AND TALKING ON A SET OF GISMOTCHY 4 ELEMENT BEAMS. GUYS, KEEP DOING WHAT YOU ARE DOING BECAUSE IT WORKS. THOMAS, TN

I purchaced the SWP - RCI 2995 and found that it will turn heads and have had people come to my shack annd want to see what I am talking on. never had that happen in my 37 years on radio. Purchased the SWP Connex 4300-300 and got the same reactions. Keep up the good work and I found out you can be loud and clear without over driving your equipment or over moodulating. I receive compliments all the time that I have the cleanest sounding station they here. You have another good reference in Virginia. thank youall again, Bobo

"Mike"
The 4300-300 is the worlds loudest radio on the planet. The superwackpacked worked, and worked well. I see a big difference in the audio, before and after. The super rx you guys do is just crazy. Ive had ground wave contacts I hear clearly over 80 miles away. I never heard them before, same radio, same location, just "swp", "srx" While things get more expensive these days, and you get less, you really did a fine job. It was worth a second of my time to let you know. Tim R.

Hi Michael my name is Fred out of Montreal Quebec Canada, we have talk on the phone for about 1 hour.
You help me choose the right radio for what i wanted to do, and sir you were damn right that 4600 is a blast everybody keep telling me i good is my signal is strong and my audio is clear & crisp!!!:)

I am seriously thinking about sending you all the radio that i owned to make then superwackpack and super receive!!!

You are the MEN i cannot thank you enough for that!!!

I wasnt sure if the 98VHP was going to be the right radio. The service you all did on it kicks butt.
Talked 92 miles on it the other night, thanks. Steven

Micheal:
I recd a General lee from you about 30 days ago, and wanted to let you know how jam up this bad mammy jammy is. The 3 postiion close talker is the bomb. I was in a 4 mile backup, in the heavy rain, and I didnt need to annoy anyone with my normal "LOUD" self. I flipped the switch and wa able to talk clear, and clean to all the trucks around me. 'the photosensor' mod was worth every penny, nickle and dime Dont need to say anything that hasnt been said about the superwack, noise filter was awesome glad I caught a sale! lol......thanks for job well done. Sheldon

Sammy
I sent you a blown up radio and you told me to be patient. The radio was a basket case and I was told it wasnt able to be repaired. Thanks for helping me out with the bill, and the radio works 100% after 10 years collecting dust. I sent it to 4 shops with no results. The 99v now talks great, and im proud to be your newest customer. Crazy Harry around the mini

I got my SWP General Lee over 2 years ago, and it is still impressing me & others. I no longer walk the aisles of CB shops & truck stops wondering what a really good radio is like. I've turned many lost radio users your way, and by seeing your recent Maul Dropping Testimonials, several of them have been found.

SmallTruckBigRadio

Mike-Sam at RADIOACTIVe radio. I got my 4600t back about 4 weeks ago after sending it in for the superpack. first minute I had it turned on, the receive was 105% better, transmit holy S$%T. worth it? Hell ya.
(1) LEDs are perfect (2) AMP turn off switch awesmome, (3) whatever you did to the audio its perfect. Im telling them about you! (4) thank you for the heavy duty mod, Im sick of bringing this damn thing in for the same bs repair. why they dont fix that crap right is beond me. If your everin the high country area again look me up, crab crack and clam bake on me Twister

Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am with the service I received from you this week. Mailed my radio last Friday, got it today (Friday). I think it is 'better' than new. Several good reports on it after re-installing it in front of my TS DX500. I said "Auuuuuudio, Auuuudio, check, Check" and cut through the heavy traffic on the channel with ease.
Once again, I am very pleased and glad I decided to go with RadioActive for my purchases when I got back into radio last year.
73's and happy DX'ing.
Trouble

MIKE, RANDY NOTHING BUT FLOWERS ON THIS 2950DX YOUR THE MAN.TALK TO RENO LIKE THEY WHERE NEXT DOOR.THE RENO LOCALS ASKED ME WHO BUILT THAT MONSTER RADIO OF COURSE I SAID IT'S A SWP RADIOACTIVE RADIO,AND GAVE YOUR NUMBER OUT TO 4 OF THE LOCALS THANKS AGAIN.

Just wanted to say thank you. The Wackpacked Connex 4600 turbo kicks butt up and down the NJ turnpike! Loud and Proud! Matt

My SuperWACKEDOUT Magnum S-9 is wall to wall, tree top tall, and smokin.....shout out to Sam and Michael over there. C-U-Bye........Reggie

I read the testimonials, I got hooked. I called and spoke to Michael. I was very impressed with his knowledge. What this guy knows can't be faked. I called some other dealers and realized that maybe they have their customers who love them, but Im going RAR. Hands down knew 10x more. Then I get in this expensive 98vhp. You are 100% right, adding a amp on/off switch was the smartest idea. I turn it off alot. Second the spalsh guard works very well. And lastly you mad men adding the Long Distance, Normal, and Short distance switch is too much. Keep kicking it......your staff is made up of real radio guys. See you around the cornhusker..... Greg O. Call me Big-O.

Never heard a 4300 h/p like it, talked from exit 20 off of I-80 in Nj to tulsa, ok first day skip rolled. thank you- Big Red

Michael

Sincerely thank you. I sent you in my dads old Galaxy 33 hml. Dad would be proud of it these days. Upgrading it to dual fet finals, super wacking it, and receive package was worth it. Thanks for caring. Vic

There aint no thing like my big swing, 442 Seattle Expect some calls we've got a new radioman, Mr Radio Active, your the real deal.

I wanted to seeif you;d put my email on your wesbite. I bought a general lee and had it wackpacked. My local tech convinced me that he could do better and that the wackpack would burn up myradio. he told me the wackpack was the worst thing you could do. funny thing is this was 5 years ago, and having my radio trouble free for 5 freaking years now, its time to give this one to the son and get a new one for me. his are $100 more expensive, but its funny how the guys in the gravel pit keep taking theyre radios back to him to get fixed and minejust keep talking all over his. 3 of the guys now sent in for the radio doctor mr radioactive, and all three are happy. i wonder when he ll give up and just admit what time ofday it is.will you give me a break on my new Geneal Lee now that I told everyone about! im calling soon, Bulldog 142

To the techs at RADIOACTIVERADIO I bought a Galxey 98vhp SWP radio back in Feb 08.from your company. The conversation i had with Mike was very helpful in ordering my Swp radio. The service was excellent. I had to wait for my fiend to drill a hole in the roof of my 05 Dodge Caravan, and do the wireing, and set the SWR . I have had around 25 radios in the last 30years and guys this Galxey 98vhp SWP is the best ever. thank you so much. Dick AKA lonewolf Palatine IL

Mike/the 4300-300 rocks dude. After buying it online from @#$%^ (edited), they burned me dude.
I called you first but your price was $60 more. So I went with them. Their tune is a joke man. Bad audio, and weak as heck. $%^#@@ (edited) sucks man. They do horrible work. After reading all the hub bub about them, and how much crap they talked about you, now I know why. They cant work on a radio if they had to. They talked a good game, and tryed to tell me how crappy you were. What a joke. Dude this super wacked 4300-300 is the best radio out there hands down. Rock on dude, rock on. and richy rich is back quiet.

Sirs- The Super wackpaked 94 h/p works perfect. thank for the swr help.

I wanted really wanted to take the time and thank you sincerely for your help, patience, and knowledge in the radio field. After searching for years after my tech died for a good shop. I heard
one of your radios over the air, traveling down I-80W. This was the cleanest clearest radio I'd ever heard. I called you right away, and purchased a "SUPERWACKPACKED" RCI 2970DX. I was very skeptical since I've heard many RCI radios that sounded good on am, but suffered on SSB. Thank you
greatly for the high end service as my all mode radio sounds terrific on all modes. Rare indeed. Now a true Radio Active customer and 2 more radios (all of which are perfect).
David G, from KC.

Ive heardthe changes there at radioactive radios over the years. I wasnt always impressed with your hype. Ive told people about the "hackpack" mods you do. monday i got a radio on the bench from the guys power jack was cracked another fellow here that dose work for the $#% didnt have it. Ive always heard from others your radios in my club that the swp was a scam but never seen it. hat off to you bud, this general lee was second to none. two wires, didod, and 20 years worth of tech expeirnce i guess does pay off. these crackers can t understand the way the radio world is.
moduationg the way this radio does, its $#%^ing awesome.
ill be calling one of these days.

Tell Mr. sammy super nova he is the worlds greatest tech on the planet. theis super recieve is awesome on this CX4300 300. modualtion is kickin. thanks mike for your help to, tell the ms. i said howdy. t.b. beltsville super radio, around md

I recived my SWP 94Hp back the other day. The minute I put it in the truck and ask for a radio check I knew it was mean the guy said your blowing some smoke over here he was about six miles away. I've been told a number of times turn that thing down what is it. When I tell them they say it sounds like a base. All I can say is your SWP is AWSOME it was well worth the money TOP SHELF. You have a new customer for life. I ask if you could help me and you did. Thanks Nicholas AKA Roadrunner, NC

I got the DX99V refurb with the wackpack. I run it in my 18 wheeler with an RK56. I hooked a Texas Star 500V behind it and lemme tell ya'll something.. People call me a "rolling base station".... I hear people asking for a radio check and I reply "yeah I hear you at milemarker 56 on I-95" and 25 others key up and say DAMN THAT SONOFABITCH IS LOUD!! When I sit at a dock waiting to load I go "low" or "high" and talk skip like its local. AM and SSB. That Galaxy actually is decent on SSB. It came to me exactly on frequency from RA and I barely have to move the fine clarifier to tune in others on SSB. The other nice thing is that RA put a professional toggle switch on the rear of the radio to turn the talkback off and on. That really is good so you can set the echo and then turn off the T/B so if you run an amp it wont feedback. But barefooted it can stay on if you like that stuff. This Galaxy will key 2 on low and she will swing 51 watts. No, thats not a misprint. The superwackpack thing they do is serious business. Not some truck stop crap ripping out a limiter and turning a coil. They do some high tech magic and make a radio scream. But she is clean and clear even with the mic gain wide open using the RK56. Lots of swing and tons of audio like we want. Take it from me, a guy who has been trucking since 1982 and owned dozens of "big radios". These guys know their stuff and will turn an ordinary 10M radio into a monster rig! Just do like they recommend for the peak performance- Have LOW SWR'S!!! Use the proper gauge wire for the amp. ( I use 10ga. copper stranded to the battery ). Have LOW SWR'S!! Yes I said it 2 times but it is important especially with amps and radios with built in amps. I run dual Wilson 2000 trucker antennas.. Whenever you are around eastern NC just listen for "Alley Cat".. That will be me on that kickass DX99! (Thanks to RadioActive Radios) !!! This is my 4th radio I bought from them in 2 years! Other drivers liked 'em so much I sold them FOR A PROFIT and came back for more!!! But this 99 is a KEEPER!!!!!
73's from the ole' Alleycat in the Tarheel State!

Thank you! I recieved my Connex 4600 turbo with the SWP the other day. I hooked in my truck went on the road and I have been told it's top notch,it blows smoke and it kicks ass. One guy told me to shut up because he couldn't talk on his radio so I told him to get a hold of you guys and I'm telling everyone I know how great your radios are and your service too. My radio is everything you said it would be and more. I even talk to another driver at many miles away driving down the interstate. I'm really pleased! Thank you very much!!!!!! Big Mick from Ga

I purchased a General Lee from Mike and I loved it. It is loud and proud. I am so sure of Mike, I purchased a SS-158edx, because I wanted a SSB radio. It is the same. I don't know which one is louder. I thought it was going to be the Superwackpacked GL, but other I talk to on a regular basis can't tell the GL from the super wack packed SS-158-edx. I love them both and Mike will take the time to talk with you if you have questions. Now I will not purchase from anyone else. I did not get rid of my GL, I put it in my motorhome and now everyone thinks I am still in the truck.
thanks

I just got my super packed and rec. General Lee. It sounds bad a#*!!! I wired it up and called out for an audio check and the first response back was, "WHAT THE HOLY H*LL WAS THAT?!?! IT SOUNDS AWESOME!!" You guys did a great job from Michael helping me pick the radio and the tech that also helped me and built it. I will use nobody else ever for my radio needs.
Thanx

I just wanted to let you know how much I am enjoying the GL! I have had it for about three months and still loving it! I don't get to talk on it much, but when I do I am respected. As one of the other testimonials stated, "Guys are scared of this radio!!!" The first time I read this I had to chuckle, but IT'S TRUE! The locals around here will literally shut up and listen while I am talking! I have heard nothing but "Loud and Proud" when asking for a radio check!

Thanks again for such a great radio, you have a customer for life!

Thomas aka Tomahawk

Hello....
I have received my radio! I got it on Friday.....I got a little anxious but I got it in the time that you told me. After I got home Friday night from work all of the locals wanted me to plug it in and try it out. I wanted to read the book for a while but they all wanted to hear it so bad that I had to plug it in right away.
I sat all the adjustments at pretty low settings..and began talking to all the locals that were waiting to hear it.....
Well....knocked one guys headphones off...
One guy said I knocked his knick knack off of his speaker...
and everyone else was hollering for me to turn it down.. so now..I've got it set just about as low as I can go and everyone around here is just amazed with it . Especially me. I was a little worried about spending the money...sight unseen.....but I would do it again in a second.
Wish everyone was as honest, truthful and good to deal with as you are...sure would make a better world.
In a little while I would like to send out my 2547 out to you for you to work your magic with it. I will get ahold of you in a couple weeks to see when you will have time to work on it. Thanks you very much. You have made me a very happy and popular man.

This SuperWhackPacked General Lee is the real thing!! My first radio check on this thing, and I had replies like "Watch out, Big Radio going to lock it down" and "Wow, That's A Big One!" The best part is, I am only running a Palomar 225 I had, which really isn't a big amp.I have never got these responses from any of my radios, and the receive..Holy Cow! You have done it again, another satisfied customer! Mike, thanks for the service before and after the sale, and my radios will only be SWP'd, and bought from Radioactive.

You guys are great!! I took your advice and purchased a Gen Lee super wackpacked w/super rec. All I can say is Wow! I am very impressed. This radio is ass kickin! I hooked it up in my big KW the Sunday after Thanksgiving and headed out from TX to MO, all along the way I was getting big time respect from all those big radios in those big chicken trucks. Those same guys wouldn't even give me a come back before. Now they want to know what I've got and where I got it. I told them all Radio Active Radios! You guy's really deliver on what you promise. I have never had a radio this cool. I didn't want to be the loudest or biggest radio around but I was tired of getting walked on and ignored. That doesn't happen any more thanks to you! I swear I had to be careful not to talk to much 'cause I was making some other drivers mad. But, I have to admit though there is something so cool about some crybaby saying he can't hear anything but that "BIG RADIO" he was talkin' about me! I love it! I promise I won't abuse the airways. But I am having fun and hell it's not that big of a radio anyway but it's big enough for me. (For now) ;~) maybe I'll put a "Dave Made" with the Gen Lee. Hmm. Should I lock down the air for miles of interstate around me? Nah. Not yet.

Purchased a General Washington (aka General Lee) superwackpacked. WOW!!!!  My first buddy that I talked to remark was - quote: " I haven't had my cherry popped like that in a long time "  Now thats what I call a radio. Thank you!  Nothing but loud and proud!!
Thanks!

Recently purchased a connex 4600 turbo superwackpack this radio receives better than any radio I have ever owned, and talk this is unreal. got it wired the way you told me to and now it really does the job, couldn't be happier. Will never buy a radio from anyone else. When people ask me who to get a radio from it will always be radioactive radios. THANKS a lot

My new Galaxy 99V arrived last night by USPS, and after reading all the literature, I couldn't wait to install in my big truck.Well, I hooked it up this morning, did the usual connectivity, grounding, and SWR checks (1.1:1), and fired that bad boy up. In just talking to another trucker beside me, a reply came on the air from about 10 miles away, asking "where's that Big Radio ?". And I've been hearing it all day long, all day strong. Excellent Transmit, and Receive! The "Super Whack Pack" was worth every penny. My only dealer for Radio Equipment is going to be RADIOACTIVE RADIOS, from now on! Thanks guys...you really 'are' Super Techs!!!

Michael,

What can I say?   WOW!  This Galaxy 99V rocks!  I asked for audio checks, not radio checks and everyone who came back replied loud and crisp and clean.  I love this thing.  I can tell others get really jealous when they hear it. AWESOME!!!  Thanks

Wesley(sorrydogg)

RadioActiveRadios,

I've been on the air for over 24 years. I had called around for about 4 months to everyone I could think of about buying this RCI 2995DX base station. I nearly did not buy it from you. One of my friends bought a 2995DX from (*sensored*) on the internet. The places price was maybe $200 less. I did not buy mine from them only cause cash was a issue at the time, and I could not afford it. Let me tell you I'm glad I could not of afford it. He's 2995dx sounds weak, and he's ticked off. The place wont help him now. every time he keys up with the thing, I now know why it was cheaper. I'm on a fixed income, and appreciate not getting ripped off. Yup it cost me a arm and a leg, but its well worth it. My 2995 is great, I've made contact to over 7 states the first day skip rolled in. Alls I get it "loud/proud" "sounding good" "top shelf", and it means a ton. Every guy I know you have treated right, that's hard to find nowadays.

Customer for life,

Alan

Well finally have my new radio hooked up and properly  tuned with a great antenna. Of course its the Wilson 1000, and you guys have done a wonderful job on this radio, it outperforms most of my friends radios. I just want to thank you for such honest information and such wonderful equipment. your right though, other techs don't know what they are talking about and by the way, can't get over how good my receive is and how quiet it is also. i will be shopping again for more equipment.

Thanks, Don

Mike,
I bought a SWP General Lee from you and man it is BAD! Very impressed with the work and more importantly, your customer service, all TOP SHELF! After showing off the radio to my father who's been into radio's for better than 30 years, he bought one too!(the next week) He said he'd heard a radio talk that good! You've got to customers for LIFE Short Fuse, round the Chesapeake Bay!!

Mike,
What can I say.  The only word that comes to mind is amazing.  You hooked me up with a Connex 4600 Turbo setup for 205watts and a 636L mic and I tell you this thing TALKS! Ive never gotten feedback on ANY radio I have owned like this one.  I mean I could be parked beside the guy giving a radio check with those other radios and dont think I would get the same feedback. Spent the better part of a day installing this thing the correct way.  Heavy gauge wires the entire nine yards to make sure it was done correct the first time.  Keyed the mic for the first time for a radio check and got "Loud and proud driver, It took me a minute to come back to ya because you knocked me to my passenger side".!!!!!!!!!!Sence the I dont even know where to start with the comments..  ie. "Walking the dog and kicking the cat, what is that thing" "That thing is a keeper" "You have me needle so far in the red I think its gona snap" "I didnt know my base was getting out that far"..  well I hear ya hows this mobile sound? "holy **** you in a mobile?" -that guy was on a base about 40 miles away, the way the bird flys. I could go on but I think you get the point. I cant wait to order my RCI 2980WX and I-10K for my base from you.  I know that thing will blow some serious smoke.

Thanks
NC

Man, you've hooked me up real good. The Superstar 36 dual final radio is the best cot'n pickin' radio that I've ever owned. Reason being is that, I've been jacked so many time with fakeass doctors from the mini-grass (which I'm originally from) and they say that this radio will do this and that and upon arrival?, my radio sound likes a piece of junk. Now, that is after they received the radio and they do their doctorine 'wannabee' on my radio. - Mike, from the deepest from my heart you've hooked me up with a barefooted radio with your "superwhacked" packed and super modulation on this radio; it makes "ModSquad" look silly. This radio just stomps on the air. Mudducks here in Idaho thinks that I'm running more than just this radio but, when I key down. I only use the barefooted mode when just modulating. BUT, when it comes down to laying it down?, damn, you should see how many ducks I put to "quack"!! Thank you so much, Mike... I will definately buy from "Radioactive" again and again.

Thank you so much & God Bless!
**309** in the cle'ah!

Michael......

I read the testimonials page on your site. Honestly I was still a little skeptical of buying my RCI 2995 from you guys. However after talking to you guys, answering all the questions I had over the course of many days.......I bought what was either going to be the biggest rip off RCI 2995 base or the baddest base station this side of the nation. This I can say this RCI 2995DX base station was worth every stinking penny I spent. Ill be paying my credit card company for a long time, but let me tell you one thing, I'd buy another in a second, and recommend any of my friends to do the same. All my buddies base stations around here don't even come close. I can say is your a man that delievered his word, and thats rare these days. I called one of your competitors that slammed you, called you a hack, and were alot cheaper. Now I know why-- if they could tune a radio like this bad boy, their phones would be ringing off the hook too!! Good tech skill is worth good money, and being a mechanic for 25 years, I can tell you alot of guys want cheap, and get what they pay for. Thanks man, Ill be calling for my dads radio really soon.

Lil Reb- Joey Silva

Thank You Mike, I got my galaxy 2547 this afternoon. I was working on a deck and did not get to fire it up until later this evening, WOW....SWP and all. With a astro plane up in the air 30' and bare footing, I talked to several units in N. Cal from my place in S/W Colorado, so the rocky mountain oyster is on the air and the needle was swinging like you said it would. Get some mad money together and I'll be back for a mobile to go with with the new base. Mr. radioactive, you and your crew are great.

One question, can I use a D-104, with a t-ug8 stand with the radio and if so what would be the wiring sequence? I'll just get in line and tell all that ask, "it's a RadioActive Radio".

Thanks again, Lynn F

I just wanted to let you know, Mike, that the 99V that I ordered from you last summer, works very well. It is installed in a big truck with fairly inexpensive (Firesticks)dual antennas and coax (Barjan). I currently have an older RK56 on it. First, I have to tell you the funny stuff. I was running one of those paperback sized radios that worked fairly well for what it was, but sounded like everybody else does. There's a couple of local guys that I normally run across regularly and talk back and forth with them on the radio. When I first talked to them with the 99, they were speechless. They just didn't know what to say at all. They were blown away by how loud and clear my radio sounded to them. The one thing that really impresses me about it is the distance it will cover, both transmitting and receiving. I have sat and listened to conversations (non-skip) that originated some 20-25 miles away and they were clear and completely understandable. The meter barely moved, but the voices were perfect with no scratchiness or static. Unbelievable. This radio work like no other radio I have ever owned, used or been around. Thank you so much for a product that really does work just like you said it would. solucky

Just wanted so say "THANKYOU'. The Connex 4600, superwack pak is awesome, have since sold my Ranger 6900 F150, not a bad radio but not even close to this one. I will never do buisness with anyone else.

Thanks again--W>B in Denver, CO

RadioActive, Man I purchsed that Astatic mic you told me about to go along with the General Lee Radio. Man am I pleased, It's AWESOME, everyone at work is telling me how I'm talking all over them. They are all impressed as well :).. This Radio with the superwack pack Just Ownz!!!!
Thanx, Lee A.

Hi my name is bill ( AKA DOC HOLIDAY ) Austin Tx.
This radio just about leaves me in awe. Man this thing has unbeliveable audio. I run this radio in my '03 Silverado p/u, using a dbl coil 10k predator. Man it's overwhelming. Just awesome. When I back the unit down to 3-5 watts &amap; CLICK. On comes my amp damn it's hell on wheel's. Local and in skipland. Everyone asks what kind of radio I'm using. Nothing but the best comments on the way it performs.(with the amp &with out the amp. I've never been so satisfied with any radio until I dealt with you guys. I'll alway's recommend you, Radio active. Your tects are the best I have ever encountered since 1973. (when I got into CB.) Just keep on doing what YOU DO BEST.
Doc Holiday, Austin,TX

Hi, my name is Charles.
I just bought your Connex 4600 Turbo, with the Super Wackpack with the Super Receive and the Predator 10K Antenna, about a mouth ago, what a package!!!! I have never had so much FUN in my life with other radios,as I am now, Thank you very much in setting me in the right path in chooseing my equipment.

Also a good friend of my sold me a brand new Galaxy DX-959 40 channel AM/SSB mobile CB radio never out of the box for half the price, and I was wondering how much would it cost to soup this radio up or can you.
Thank You.

I bought a 66 with a wackpack and a 99 without a wackpack, well I only use the Galaxy 66 with the SUPERWACKPACK now. I didn't think I wanted to Wack the 99. Anyway I was WRONG! The 99 just sits on the shelf until I want to talk ssb. I want to get the SUPERWACKPACK done to the Galaxy 99 now as I should have when I bought it.

Can I send back the radio to have this done? I will supply you with my card number for the charges and return shipping. I understand you are a very busy shop, but you guys are the best and wouldn't send my "BIG BOY" anywhere else!
Thanks, Moogie

WOW!! Unbelievable!! ..... I had a General Lee 3 years ago, and it performed great, but it got stolen by some low life that can't afford his own radio. ..... I bought another one from you guys, had it SuperWhackPacked, and WOW!! it out performs EVERY radio on the highway. Drivers call me a "Liar" they say I must have a "Kicker" I tell them "No" but just wait till I DO get one lol ....

Thanx a Million guys, you've got one happy customer.

High Voltage

Mr.RadioActive,
I got my RCI 2980WX base station in on 6-1-06 from you guys. Before that I had a 2980WX I bought from another dealer, I had sent it back to that dealer 3 times, all times they told me the radio worked perfect. I was shocked when you didn't suck A#% and tell me what I wanted to hear.

You told me sometimes radios work on the bench. Damn man your honest, defending another shop! Anyway the base I had sucked and I got burned I sold the crappy thing losing $200 no matter what they screwed me. Their tech service bites. You guys told me you wouldn't say anything bad about them because it's against your rules to speak badly of someone else. That's freaking INTEGRITY.

Anyway again I called you and didn't want to pay $690 for your radio. I thought it was nuts. But something told me to do it. You answered my questions, and put up with me for 2 hours on the phone. Anyway to make a long story short, this base KICKS A$#. It's nuts how far I'm hearing, and talking the money was SO WORTH IT. This radio has the biggest ears I've ever had. I'm hearing maybe 2x greater then I did before with the same Imax 2000 antenna. I've been hearing people telling me I used to hit them with a 3 or 4 now its 6 or 7 on their radio you can't lie about that! That's with the SAME TYPE OF RADIO! No radio I ever had talked so far, and heard so well. Guys your top of the line, when you get screwed as much as I have you get a little bitter, but I may not be a technical expert but you guys are now my techs.

Thx again,
Bob M.

I just wanted to say thanks Mike , for fixing my Galaxy 99V.I have gotten alot of compliments on the radio , Sounds Great.

Thanks again,
Mike.Noel from San Antonio,Tx.

P.S. I'll never use a CB shop again.

Pred 10K mobile antenna, and my dx99 Galaxy radioactive style, Radio Active 450 doing the job for sure, with 636L kicking.

Thanks, Tommy-

Thank you very much for going out of your way to get my radios fixed right. You don't know how happy I am. As you know I had a General Lee "superwackpacked" by on 5/26/06. I had bought the radio from you, installed it and got nothing but compliments. However after passing a "cb shop" the owner told me to take the radio inside, he could "improve" it. He put you guys down and called your work a "hack" and told me he knew all about you. I was a fool and fell for it, paid $50 so he could remove the work, and do his wonders on it. The moment his "tech" put the radio back in the truck, I noticed people told me my audio as low, and muffled. The shop told me to drive down the road and test it with them on the air. They said I sounded great, which I found out was a total lie. The shop ruined my radio. Everyone told me I sounded horrible. The other drivers for my company said, I sounded like a was talking on junk. This is when I called your company. I could not believe that you were willing to fix it....the total bill came out to nothing! You guys charged me nothing to rework the entire radio, and you got it back out to me in 3 days, and even paid for shipping. The radios talking GREAT now, and Im very, very impressed. In todays day and age many people will try to ruin a good reputation, slam the other guy, and boost up themself, but what really matters is how the radio talks when you key up the mic, and your radios are the best. Please feel free to share this on your site. If people need to contact me please allow them to.

Guys, Rec'd the 2980dx "super wackpacked, with super receive, and power supply upgrades". I was kinda skeptical of the price you had on the radio. It was higher then the other guys. However your sales staff really answered all my questions the many times I called. The mods done to this radio are sincerely the best that I've ever seen. Being in electronics myself for over 45 years (out of it now due to poor eye sight), I can say you guys are on top of the technical bench work. The audio is very clean, and loud. I've talked to locals over 90 miles (if you can call that local), and DX all over including AU, NZ, and others on a omni.

I've owned many radios over the years, and have built a few and blown up a few as well trying, I really wanted to say thank-you. The other base stations in town have no where near the same results, plan on hearing from a few of them.

Thank you very much,
Chuck, NH

The radio works great and I have had some awesome responses for my trucker buddies.
Thanks,
Geoff
PS Thanks for the tip of turning off my talk back.

Mike-dropping the freaking hammer on the 95T2 dude! Killer audio, I can't believe how much better this radio is then my hacked-up cb shop one was. You got a customer forever! Keep up the killer work....... I'll be getting that 1600 next.

Guys, First off I wanted to say you ROCK!
My new 95T2 is the best sounding radio on the big road. Alls I get is "what the heck you running?" I used to use one of the other places I found surfing. Cant believe I paid money for their so called tune. Radio squealed nonstop, and alls I got was audio sounds muffled. Dumb me fell for it 2 times. When I called and told them, idiot me bought another radio from them, and got ripped twice.

Dudes thanks for being honest and answering my questions.
See you guys in NC next year.
Jimmy, Big Horn

I bought a connex 4600 turbo from you guys and get the best compliments on the radio! You guys did a really good job on it.

Hey Mike, I just recently purchased a s/w/p General Lee from you and that thing blows some serious smoke, I've got nothing but compliments on the radio, it's the loudest, cleanest radio I've ever heard, I was running it barefoot for a couple of days, but I just got my old tx800 hooked up today and that thing is kickin some serious butt. I'll probabally be looking to get one of those Davemades pretty soon though, that old tx has just about had it, anyway just wanted to say thanks for the great service and a great radio, you've got a new customer for life.

Thanks again
Kyle "rooster" Baton Rouge,La.

Just wanted to let you know I'm elated with the radio.
Thanks again
Mike

I recently received my superwhackpack, super receive Connex 3300 H/P and this radio rocks. It sounds great with my Texas Star 500 matched to it. No more CB shops for me. My radio pals don't even know me now!!! Thanks for a killer radio.

What happens when two big RadioActive Radios meet?
We've all heard the "little" radios, and the loud radios that sound bad, and a few of us have heard the big, loud, radios that also sound good. Two customers of RadioActive Electronics who both recently purchased SuperWackPacked General Lee Radios, recently met. Of course they tried the radios out.

The meeting went like this:
BigGuns: Today I met the "Working Cowboy" in person, and during this meeting I experienced the real power of a SuperWackPacked General Lee radio from RadioActive Radios. The "Working Cowboy's" barefoot SuperWackPacked General Lee was so loud, I had to turn the volume on my radio down because he was hurting my ears. I also got to really hear what my SuperWackPacked General Lee sounded like, and all I've got to say is Mr. RadioActive YOU ARE THE MAN! My past experiences with bad CB shops had me skeptical, but now, I AM A VERY HAPPY CAMPER, THANKS FOR EVERYTHING!

And now that the DaveMade 2 by 4 has arrived I believe I am about to be the happiest guy in Virginia!

Thad (SmallTruckBigRadio)

I JUST GOT A S/W/P Galaxy 99 DONE UP FROM MIKE! THAT THING ROCK'S! I LOVE WHAT THIS THING CAN DO. IT IS A GOOD CLEAN SOUNDING RADIO. THE MUDDUCKS RUN AT THE SOUND OF THAT S/W/P Galaxy 99 JUST BEING TURNED ON.

Mr. RadioActive
One word, Awesome!. Thats the best way to describe my SuperWackPacked Galaxy DX66V from RadioActive Radios. Before I had the SuperWackPack done to my radio, it worked OK but was ordinary at best. I'm always getting compliments on how loud my 66V is now. This never happened before with the peak and tune(hack job) performed by the local Golden Screwdriver. Now my radio rocks! The audio is louder and my average talking watts have almost doubled. One word.....Awesome!

Mississippifrog (sent us his used 66V and Boomer Amp)

Thank you for ending my expensive search "for a little bit more, and a little bit better" in a radio. Usually, a new toy loses its "newness" after a few weeks.
With this SuperWackPacked General Lee, I get very regular reminders that my search for a top shelf radio is over. Never in my wildest dreams, was I expecting consistent compliments from base stations, while using a mobile. And, when I'm not getting compliments, I can hear the sound of respect, and sometimes jealously of finally being the "BIG RADIO" on the air.

"Got the radio installed yesterday. Found a channel with folks talking on it. At a break, I keyed up for a radio check. Loud and clear came back from N. Carolina!"

Thanks much!! (superwackpacked connex 4600 turbo)

"Before the SuperWackPacked General Lee, I would ask for radio checks with doubt, Now I ask for radio checks to show off! Strangers speak to me differently on the General Lee. I have been called a CB shop 3 times now. Sounds like a base! Comments like "That radio sounds top shelf" "Walking the dog" "Sounds smooth as silk" etc. are all indicators that your radio is SuperWackPacked! " ^P
